We conceived and built the Printpress 522, a specialized flexo printing machine developed as a solution specifically dedicated to the biomedical and pharmaceutical sector for customization on plastic materials. We structured this equipment to work with extreme precision, operating smoothly in single-color intermittent printing on PVC substrates, using low-migration UV inks.

In terms of production specifications, our Printpress 522 offers a variable print area from 250–300 x 250–700 mm and a maximum speed reaching 20 cycles per minute. To guarantee superior and consistent inking quality, we adopted an advanced inking unit based on an Ultralox™ ceramic Anilox roller with micro-cells, managed by two linear actuators and distribution doctor blades that ensure flawless color application. The cliché, mounted on an aluminum plate, is securely clamped by four single-acting pneumatic clamps and actuated by a vertical cylinder for direct contact with the product.

Control and safety of the entire system stand out due to the integration of a high-efficiency UV lamp at the outlet for immediate ink drying, protected by an automatic shutter during machine downtime. We designed this solution equipped with a precision brushless motor, guards with magnetic safety switches, and emergency stop buttons, guaranteeing extremely high standards of protection and operational reliability.
