product details

We conceived, designed, and built the 906™ Printing System, a flexo printer developed as an in-line solution dedicated to the paper, non-woven, textile, and packaging sectors. We structured this special flexographic printing machine to work continuously on flexible materials during unwinding, such as paper and cardboard, with a specific application in the customization of cardboard edge protectors and other flexible paper substrates. The system is designed to integrate into production lines for materials with a maximum width of 450 mm.

To ensure clean graphic results, we have equipped the machine with three electronically synchronized Miniflex® 520 printing units, enabling three-color designs (3+0 configuration). Regarding production specifications, our flexographic printer manages a fixed printing width of 200 mm and a print repeat of 600 mm. To guarantee efficient and convenient production runs, we implemented an inking system featuring a laser-engraved ceramic anilox Ultralox™ roller and a doctor blade, optimized for water-based inks. To reduce maintenance times, the ink fountain and doctor blade holder are teflon-coated, facilitating routine cleaning. This setup allows our printing press to achieve an operating speed of up to 100 meters per minute.

Motion control is managed by a drive system utilizing synchronized brushless motors. We have engineered this system so that operators can easily adjust the lateral position of one color relative to another directly from the electrical panel or using a mobile keypad. To ensure rapid format changes, we integrated an offline sleeve-change system, accelerating plate replacement and enabling the use of engraved sleeves for continuous patterns. This process is supported by a hot-air drying system with electrical heating elements, engineered to speed up ink drying on the substrate. With the Sistema di Stampa 906™, we deliver a stable and practical technology designed to meet specific industrial requirements.
