product details

We conceived, designed, and built the Modular™ 987-988-989, in-line flexo printers developed as solutions for the extrusion, converting, and packaging sectors. We structured these special flexographic printing machines to work stably on continuously unwinding substrates such as plastic and bioplastic, offering high process flexibility for the continuous customization and coding of flexible materials.

Developed to guarantee high process flexibility, these flexographic machines are configured as single-color, in-line flexographic systems engineered for the continuous printing of flexible substrates. In terms of production specifications, the Modular™ 987-988-989 handle print widths ranging from 700 mm to 1300 mm, combined with a variable repeat length ranging from a minimum of 600 mm to a maximum of 1200 mm. To keep production cycles efficient and cost-effective, we integrated an inking system based on a ceramic Ultralox™ anilox roller and a doctor blade with a carbon fiber enclosed chamber system featuring magnetic blade clamping to facilitate maintenance operations. The systems operate with optimal efficiency using both water-based (H2O) and solvent-based inks, guaranteeing a printing speed of up to 100 meters per minute.

Precision handling is ensured by a drive system managed by synchronized brushless motors, which guide the web passage consistently. To simplify daily operations and make format management quick and convenient for the operator, we provided sleeve-change capability to easily vary the print repeat. The process is completed by a hot-air drying system with electric heating elements, specifically designed to speed up ink drying on the substrate. With the Modular™ 987-988-989, we provide the market with a robust technology built to respond with precision and practicality to industrial needs.
