Flexo printing for Agricultural Films and Silage Wrap

The heavy-duty printing unit for marking and coloring agricultural stretch films directly on the extrusion line.

Modular™ 941 by Giugni Srl is a flexographic printing unit engineered to meet the demanding challenges of the agri-plastics sector. This machine is the reference choice for manufacturers of silage stretch film, mulching films, and large-format agricultural sheets.
Built with a reinforced structure to handle heavy and wide reels (wide web), Modular™ 941 integrates seamlessly into cast or blown film extrusion lines or into rewinding departments. Its primary function is twofold:

  1. Branding and instructions: Printing of manufacturer logos, commercial brands, and usage instructions directly onto stretch film.
  2. Coloring and coating: Thanks to the closed-chamber doctor blade inking system, the machine can apply full-area coatings to change the film color (e.g. from white to green/black) or evenly apply functional additives (e.g. tackifier adhesives) across the entire surface.

Closed-chamber technology ensures precise ink metering even in dusty or harsh environments typical of agricultural film production, and enables efficient use of solvent-based or water-based inks with high resistance to weathering and UV exposure.
