We conceived, designed, and built the Modular™ 927, a flexo printer from our “Flatbed Flexo” family, developed as an in-line solution specifically dedicated to the pharmaceutical, medical, and biomedical industrial sectors. We structured this single-color flexographic printing machine to work with precision in a flatbed configuration, operating smoothly on flexible materials in intermittent unwinding such as plastic and bioplastic, specifically printing PVC and PP on production lines for medical bags.

To ensure accurate printing results, we equipped the system with a robust printing unit. In terms of production specifications, our flexographic printer handles a print area featuring a fixed width of 700 mm and a fixed repeat length of 300 mm. To keep the production process efficient and cost-effective, we adopted a flexographic inking unit equipped with a doctor blade and based on an Ultralox™ ceramic anilox roller. Thanks to this robust structural configuration, our printer reaches an operating speed of 10 cycles per minute.

Precision control of the entire system is entrusted to an integrated motorized drive system. We designed this solution so that the operator can conveniently manage adjustments electronically, intervening to vary key parameters during processing. To optimize ink drying, we installed a system based on UV lamps.
