We designed the Modular™ 530 as a high-speed gearless flexo printer, ideal for both new installations and retrofitting onto existing lines. This central impression (CI) flexographic printing press was specifically engineered for the hygiene and sanitary sector, delivering excellent performance in the production of feminine pads, diapers, and wipes.

In developing the system, we paid close attention to handling delicate materials, enabling printing on very lightweight non-woven substrates (down to 10 gsm). Thanks to its synchronized brushless motors, this flexographic printer reaches speeds of 300 m/min with a vertical web path. Furthermore, its architecture allows for multi-color configurations that are kept perfectly in electronic register.

We are excited about the flexibility offered by the sleeve-change system and the “Variant” technology for electronic repeat changes, which makes every operational transition quick and cost-effective. The enclosed doctor blade chamber inking system is optimized for use with water-based, solvent-based, and UV inks. The process is completed by a hot air drying system that ensures a flawless final result.
