We have designed the Miniflex® 584, a flexo printer from the “Miniflex” family, to meet the specific requirements of the personal hygiene products sector. This single-color flexographic printing machine was studied to operate on plastics, bioplastics, and non-woven materials, ensuring steady performance at a speed of 300 m/min through a fully motorized system.

In developing this flexographic printer, we focused on “Flexo H2O” technology, optimizing the unit for the use of water-based inks. This choice, besides being eco-friendly, allows for precise handling of continuous printing on both absorbent and non-absorbent films. To ensure high-quality inking, we implemented a ceramic anilox roll paired with a closed-chamber system, providing uniform color transfer across a 150 mm printing width.

We are excited to have integrated sleeve-change technology into the flexo printer Miniflex® 584, which allows for adjusting the print repeat between 260 mm and 520 mm in a fast and convenient manner. A unique strength of our solution is the new dual-head cleaning system, designed to remove residues from the cliché in both directions of travel. This technical feature enables the handling of materials from two different unwinders, significantly optimizing production schedules.

To complete the process and accelerate ink curing, this flexographic printing machine offers an optional dedicated drying system. Furthermore, the integration of the patented NIC® (Non-stop In-line Cleaner) system allows for cliché cleaning during operation, eliminating downtime and ensuring a sharp final result free of imperfections.
