We conceived, designed, and built the Miniflex® 546 as a specific solution for the personal hygiene products industry, particularly feminine hygiene pads. We produced this flexo printer to operate effectively and target specific substrates, including plastic, bioplastic, and non-woven fabric. This single-color flexographic printing machine, which stands out as a motorized “gearless” unit with an inking drawer, was built to ensure consistent and precise application while seamlessly integrating into production lines.

From a technical standpoint, we assembled this flexographic printer to handle a fixed printing width of 350 mm, combined with a repeat length of 500 mm. To keep the production process efficient and cost-effective even during continuous operations, we developed an inking system based on a practical, removable Ultralox™ Anilox drawer equipped with a doctor blade. This configuration allows our printer to reach an operating speed of 350 meters per minute. We ensured that the system works optimally with UV inks, guaranteeing a sharp yield as well as practical and safe fluid management during work cycles.

To ensure structural stability and precision for every print run, we produced this flexo printing machine equipping it with an advanced drive system featuring three independent brushless motors dedicated to the impression cylinder, the plate cylinder, and the Ultralox™ Anilox roller. Additionally, to facilitate the operators’ work and make format changes quicker and more convenient, we developed the system to be sleeve-ready for the plate holder. To support the process, we integrated a drying system with UV lamps, specifically designed to speed up ink curing. With the Miniflex® 546, we deliver a robust and compact flexographic printer, ready to reliably meet the industrial needs of the sanitary-hygiene sector.
