These diagrams show the most commonly used operating principles of our passive or motorized "Miniflex" machines which use doctor blade ink distribution. When two directions of movement are specified on the same substrate (film), this means: a b The following key refers to the diagrams 7-11: A - Ink bottle B - Ink reservoir D - Fountain and ink distributing roll (anilox) E - Printing or cliché-holding roll F/F1 - Possible directions of the film.
